Getting ready to depart for ALC8

Family and Friends who supported me in the AIDS Lifecycle (ALC),

So I just finished the day-long check-in process the day before the ride. I
have all my gear, wristbands, tent, and costumes. Tomorrow morning we head
out at 5am to the first lunch stop to setup be ready to serve lunch to over
2500 cyclists, roadies, and staff starting at 9am.

My feelings right now are a mixture of excitement and nervousness about what
I’ve gotten myself into. Although based on the people I’ve met so far and
the energy of the event, I don’t expect it to be anything but a great
experience.
